David's journey in the physical therapy world began in 1987 when his parents suggested that he volunteer at the local PT clinic for the summer to "see what PT is all about". They figured that the profession aligned with his own love of fitness. David recalls that it was after his second day that he realized physical therapy was exactly what he was called to do.
David began practicing in 1994 in Scottsdale, AZ. He has always had a passion for helping individuals to move and perform at their best regardless of the client's arena of life - NFL, PGA, ATP, WTA, professional triathlete, the weekend warrior, and those who are looking to maintain an active lifestyle and healthy aging.
He has been an athlete for most of his life, spending many years on the tennis court. He was a member of the Wake Forest University (NC) men's tennis team from 1984-1987.
David and his wife, Cara (a native Texan), moved to Frisco in February, 2025 from Phoenix, AZ.
David's favorite quote:
"We don't quit playing because we grow old; we grow old because we quit playing."
- George Bernard Shaw
Personal philosophy:
"When we MOVE better, we LIVE better; and thus enjoy LIFE better."
